Kunsthandel Studio 2000 is an art gallery specializing in modern Dutch and Belgian art, particularly paintings and works on paper from the early twentieth century. Founded in Amsterdam in 1985 by Howard Myers, the gallery moved to Blaricum in 2001, where it continues to serve collectors and institutions. Its collection and exhibitions focus on modernist artists and influential figures such as Jan Toorop and Theo van Rysselberghe, alongside artists including Jan Sluijters, Leo Gestel, Isaac Israels and Tinus van Doorn.
The gallery presents selected artworks, with an emphasis on pieces notable for their subject, importance within an artist’s body of work, or recent appearance on the market. Studio 2000 organizes art-historically focused exhibitions and accompanies them with scholarly publications. Since 1993, it has also published a quarterly magazine about its collection and related art history, as well as monographs on artists such as Toorop.
