Studio Progress

Studio Progress is the jewellery and metalworking practice of Richárd Menyhárt, a goldsmith, designer and goldsmithing teacher based in Budapest. Guided by precision, high standards and an experimental design approach, the studio creates carefully finished pieces using both traditional precious metals, including silver, gold and platinum, and materials such as titanium and stainless steel.

Its work includes custom engagement rings and wedding bands, design jewellery, men’s jewellery and accessories, as well as rings in titanium and stainless steel. The studio also provides jewellery repair, resizing and remodelling, and restores antique goldsmithing objects. Other commissions include watch case refurbishment and fabrication, film props and jewellery, corporate gifts and awards, and general metalwork. Laser welding is among its specialist services.

Studio Progress offers 3D modelling and design, professional advice, lectures and education. Its website presents examples of previous work and articles on jewellery design and materials. The Budapest workshop operates by appointment, allowing clients to discuss bespoke pieces and other metalworking projects directly with Menyhárt.
