Studio Yezi is a South African storytelling studio creating original intellectual property across animation, publishing, and design. Its work builds imaginative worlds rooted in culture, memory, myth, and the possibilities of becoming. Through stories and creative projects, the studio brings distinctive characters and ideas to life across different formats.

Its slate includes Sola, an animated short film in production with Emmy-winning director Lesego Vorster attached, and Oarona, an animated project being developed as a webtoon and light novel. Oarona was selected for Stories x Women 2024 and pitched at Annecy. Mbali Goes to Space is a family feature film and children’s book co-created with director Simangaliso Sibaya of PANDAEXCLAMATED, known for Disney+.

Studio Yezi also publishes The Faithful Maker: A Devotional Journal for Bold Creativity. Designed for writers, artists, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, the 40-day journal combines reflection, prayer, and guided prompts to support faith and creative purpose. The studio shares updates and stories through its website and social channels, connecting audiences with its developing worlds and creative practice.
