STWDSTS (Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services) is a trusted consortium of five school boards in Wellington and Dufferin Counties. Their main objective is to provide safe and reliable transportation for eligible students in the area. The consortium consists of the following school boards: Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir, Conseil scolaire Viamonde, Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (Dufferin County only), Upper Grand District School Board, and Wellington Catholic District School Board.

To ensure smooth operation and efficient decision-making, STWDSTS has a Transportation Management Committee (TMC) that acts as their Board of Directors. The TMC, comprised of five members appointed by each school board and the Chief Administrative Officer of Transportation, meets regularly to oversee policies, procedures, and set long and short term goals. Funding is crucial for the proper functioning of STWDSTS.

Grants from the Province are received based on the number of students utilizing their services. Each member board is responsible for paying STWDSTS for the transportation costs, even if the grants do not cover the full amount. Additionally, three percent of the transportation expenditure from each board goes towards administrative costs.

With a fleet that covers over 5 million kilometers annually, more than 20,000 students rely on their yellow school buses or taxis daily.
