Seinäjoen Urheilijat is a speed skating club based at the Jouppila artificial ice rink in Seinäjoki, Finland. Founded in 1932, it is the only club in South Ostrobothnia dedicated to speed skating and describes itself as one of Finland’s most successful. The club brings together skaters of different ages and experience levels, with opportunities to skate recreationally, compete, or pursue high-level performance.

From early November to mid-March, members can use the club’s ice sessions five times a week for speed skating, touring, and fitness skating. The club also organizes several local and national competitions each season; participation is voluntary and free for members. Its website provides competition schedules and results, ice-time information, club records, and guidance on equipment, coaching, and getting started.

For younger beginners, the Pingu skating school offers an introduction to the sport. The 2026–2027 season is scheduled to begin on November 16, 2026, for children aged four to twelve. Seinäjoen Urheilijat also provides membership information, equipment rental, and guidance for prospective skaters.
