SU

SU is Denmark’s official information and self-service portal for Statens Uddannelsesstøtte, the public financial support available to eligible students. The site explains how students can apply for grants, student loans and supplementary benefits, and how to manage their support through minSU, the online service accessed with MitID. It provides guidance on eligibility, the conditions recipients must continue to meet, payment rates and the income limits that apply while receiving support.

Students can also find information about taking SU abroad, disability supplements for eligible students, support for student parents, and grants related to tuition or participation fees. The portal includes guidance for foreign citizens seeking equal status with Danish citizens, as well as information about final loans for students who have used their standard support.

SU offers practical resources on authorisations, appeals, Digital Post and applicable legislation. It directs students with questions about their individual cases to the SU adviser at their educational institution.
