Maebashi Subero Club is a community ski club based in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, and affiliated with the Gunma Workers’ Ski Association. Guided by the motto “Let’s all enjoy skiing,” it welcomes members of all ages and abilities, from young children to people over 80, and offers a friendly place to learn, ski, and build lasting friendships. Club instructors provide clear, supportive lessons for beginners through advanced skiers, following the club’s ski teaching curriculum; instruction is free for members and trial participants.

Activities include ski lessons and competitions, overnight and weekday ski trips, spring skiing, telemark skiing, and snowboarding. In the off-season, members can take part in hiking, mountain walks, barbecues, inline skating, dry-slope and roller-ski practice, and weekly stretching sessions. The club also holds pre-season events, including an annual ski-film evening, and invites prospective members to try activities and attend planning meetings. Many trips use shared car transport, helping members travel together.
