Suburban Bowhunters

Suburban Bowhunters is a licensed and insured deer management organization serving homeowners and landowners in the St. Louis area. Since 2004, its professional archery hunters have provided a free service to help manage suburban deer and animal populations. The organization serves St. Louis, Ballwin, Clarkson Valley, Chesterfield, Creve Coeur, Manchester, and Wildwood.

As urban development reduces deer habitat and populations grow, deer may increasingly use residential properties, creating concerns for landowners and the local environment. Suburban Bowhunters works with property owners to address these challenges through professional bowhunting. Its members undergo an application process intended to ensure they are ethical, discreet, and responsible, and the organization emphasizes safety, liability, and wounding-rate questions in its information for homeowners.

The service is free to property owners, who can contact the organization to discuss their needs or arrange a consultation. Suburban Bowhunters also provides resources about deer damage, bowhunting, current activity, and frequently asked questions, helping residents understand its approach to responsible suburban deer management.
