Succc is the Uruguayan Society of Cognitive and Behavioural Sciences, a non-profit civil society organization based in Montevideo. Established in 2018, our goal is to bring together researchers, practitioners, educators, and students from various disciplines related to the Cognitive and Behavioural Sciences. At Succc, we are committed to promoting and disseminating scientific advances in these fields.

We also aim to provide local training and career development opportunities for aspiring professionals. Moreover, we offer advisory services to both public and private entities, assisting them in evidence-based decision-making and intervention strategies. One of our primary objectives is to conduct research that can address social issues effectively.

We believe in the power of applied research to make a meaningful impact on society. Succc is governed by a dedicated team led by Alejandro Maiche, Ph. D., who serves as the Chair.

The team includes experts such as Alejandra Carboni, Ph. D., Alejandro Vásquez, Ph. D., Verónica Nin, Ph.

D., and Álvaro Cabana, Ph. D. We also have a diligent fiscal committee comprising Camila Zugarramurdi, Ph.
