Haus Fischbachtal is a social participation and addiction support service in Kronach, Bavaria, set amid the forests, fields and hills of the Frankenwald. As a recognized residential facility, it supports up to 44 adults with chronic alcohol or medication dependencies, including people with dual diagnoses. Its services are open regardless of religious affiliation or sexual orientation.
The team provides a safe, structured environment for residents working toward abstinence and a meaningful life. Support is based on a sociotherapeutic community, with a regular daily and weekly routine that combines practical activities with time for personal development. Services include social-pedagogical support, individual and group conversations, work and occupation projects, and varied leisure and development activities.
Accommodation is available in the main house, satellite residential groups across Kronach, and supported individual or group living for people ready for greater independence. Residents can take part in sports, outings and activities in the house’s garden and surroundings.
