The California Oak Mortality Task Force (COMTF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to managing Sudden Oak Death (SOD) in California. Established in August 2000 through the collaboration of the California Forest Pest Council and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, COMTF brings together a diverse coalition of research institutions, public agencies, non-profits, and private stakeholders.
