Sud Riding

Sud Riding is a multi-discipline surf school based at Point Zéro in La Grande-Motte, France, offering lessons and activities from Easter through October. Founded by surf and board-sports instructor Christophe Roquefere, the school opened in 2024 and draws on his teaching experience, which dates back to 1993. Its team provides instruction adapted to different ability levels, helping newcomers and more experienced participants build confidence on the water.

Activities include wave surfing, longboarding, shortboarding, body surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, paddleboard racing, surf foil and prone rescue. Sessions take place at two locations, the sea and the lagoon, and are available as courses, holiday or weekend programmes, and group or seminar activities. Sud Riding also provides a weekly activity schedule and information about certification. Visitors can check the programme and reserve activities through the school. With a focus on teaching and sharing a passion for board sports, Sud Riding offers a range of ways to experience gliding on the Mediterranean coast.
