Sue Ford Networking is a highly regarded brand in the world of business breakfast networking. Founded by Sue Ford, a prominent figure in the industry, the brand has a rich history dating back to 2010. Sue, along with her colleagues at Core Financial, initially joined a networking group established at the offices of APC Accounts in Mansfield.
The success of the group led to its relocation to The Watermill pub in Sutton-in-Ashfield, where it became known as the Mansfield Networking Club. Over time, Sue expanded the brand's reach by partnering with Mark Avrill to create a sister meeting at the Derby Conference Centre. In 2014, she collaborated with other networking enthusiasts to establish the Network2Network group, which organized breakfast and lunchtime meetings in various locations.
Despite facing health challenges, Sue's dedication to networking remained unwavering until her passing in 2018. In her honor, the original group at The Watermill renamed themselves the Sue Ford Networking group, ensuring her legacy lives on. Presently, Sue Ford Networking continues to host regular meetings in Mansfield, serving as a platform for professionals to connect and expand their business networks.
