Sue-Ying Koang is a distinguished violinist renowned for her expertise in historical performance. After completing her violin studies at prestigious institutions, including the CNSMD of Lyon, Hochschule für Musik Berlin, and Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, she joined the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège as a soloist in 2004. In 2011, she transitioned from orchestral performance to focus on early music, earning two masters in baroque violin and music pedagogy from the Haute École de Musique in Geneva.

Sue-Ying has collaborated with prominent baroque ensembles and renowned musicians, particularly with harpsichordist and musicologist Vincent Bernhardt. Her discography includes notable recordings such as A Violino Solo and Travelling with a Violin, showcasing her commitment to the rich traditions of baroque music. Beyond performance, she engages in teaching through workshops, including the 8th International Academy Sublime Baroque. With a passion for both performance and education, Sue-Ying Koang continues to inspire audiences and students alike.
