Suffolk Anglers

Suffolk Marine Anglers is a private fishing club based in Babylon Village, New York, bringing together anglers who enjoy fishing, friendly competition, and community events. The club organizes seasonal tournaments and monthly fishing derbies, with categories that include striped bass, bluefish, and blackfish. Members and junior anglers can take part, weigh in catches, follow leaderboards, and compete for prizes and recognition. Recent events include an annual fall bass tournament, which draws boats and anglers for a week of fishing and a final weigh-in.

Beyond fishing competitions, Suffolk Marine Anglers hosts regular meetings, raffles, and social gatherings. Its annual Christmas and awards party celebrates the season and recognizes achievements such as Inshore and Offshore Angler of the Year. Meetings have featured guest speakers discussing fishing-related topics, including sunglass lenses, and raffles have included fishing rods, reels, knives, and other outdoor gear. The club also shares tournament results, event announcements, photographs, rules, and member information through its website.
