Suffolk

Dansk Suffolk is a Danish association for sheep enthusiasts, breeders and anyone interested in developing sheep breeding and strengthening the community around Suffolk sheep in Denmark. It serves as a hub where members can share knowledge and experienced breeders can offer guidance to both established sheep farmers and people considering getting started. The association’s website introduces the Suffolk breed, including its history, characteristic appearance and breeding objectives.

It also provides practical information on sheep registration, important considerations for prospective breeders, and the rules and structure of the association. Members and visitors can explore opportunities to buy and sell, learn about membership, and find contact details for the organisation. Dansk Suffolk’s work centres on promoting and preserving the breed through shared interest, informed breeding and community involvement.

Suffolk sheep are described as white with black heads and legs, and distinctive long, slightly curved ears. Whether someone is already raising sheep or simply wants to learn more about Suffolk, the association offers a welcoming starting point and access to relevant advice and resources
