SugarHouse Industries

SugarHouse Industries is a trusted brand that has been providing high-quality residential and commercial awnings, boat tops, covers, and other custom-made canvas products since 1941. Founded by Walter O. Peterson, the company faced challenges during wartime but persevered by venturing into the Sherwin Williams paints line.

Now known as SugarHouse Industries, the brand moved to a new facility in Midvale in 2000 to better serve its customers. Over the years, awnings have evolved from mere window shades to stylish decorative items, and SugarHouse Industries has kept pace with these changes. They have expanded their services to include the military and aerospace industry while maintaining their strong focus on awnings and custom-made products.

The brand prides itself on being the leading manufacturer and installer of marine covers in the Intermountain West. With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, SugarHouse Industries continues to grow and innovate in the canvas products industry.
