Sugar House Distillery is a brand that takes pride in handcrafting small batch spirits in the Mountain West region. Located in Salt Lake City's Sugar House neighborhood, they received federal approval for spirits distilling in 2013 and Utah approval in 2014. Since then, they have been producing a range of high-quality spirits, including Rye Whiskey, Vodka, Boilermaker Series, Gold Rum, Malt Whisky, Bourbon Whiskey, Silver Rum, New Make Whiskey, and Canned Cocktails.
What sets Sugar House Distillery apart is their dedication to their craft. They prioritize transparency, with no outsourcing, additives, artificial colors, or flavors. Their spirits are made using only grain or molasses, yeast, and time, finished with skill and a little water.
Owner and distiller James Fowler welcomes visitors to the distillery for a firsthand experience of the grain-to-glass process. Sugar House Distillery also operates a packaging store where customers can purchase their spirits directly.
