Sugo is a recipe app for home cooks that brings favorite recipes together and helps make everyday cooking simpler. Save recipes from websites, social media videos, photos, screenshots, and cookbook pages, or digitize handwritten recipe cards. Sugo organizes them into searchable collections, extracting ingredients, steps, cooking times, and serving sizes.

When it is time to cook, hands-free Cook Mode displays clear, step-by-step instructions, starts timers, and responds to voice prompts. The app can also keep track of pantry ingredients, suggest recipes that match what is on hand, recommend substitutions, and create shopping lists for missing items. Live Scan uses a phone camera to identify pantry contents, including labels and barcodes.

Other features include meal planning, an AI cooking assistant that draws on saved recipes and pantry details, and Cook Party, which lets people follow the same recipe together from separate kitchens with shared timers and voice chat. Sugo is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, and web browsers. The service is free to start, works offline, and has no ads.
