Sumac Space is a non-profit Exhibition Platform that showcases Contemporary Art Practices from the Middle East. Launched in October 2020, Sumac Space presents digital programs and critical writing that delve into the diverse and thriving art scenes of the region. Through online and in-situ Exhibitions, Sumac Space offers a unique insight into the contemporary urgencies addressed by artists, curators, and research bodies dealing with the challenging socio-political circumstances of the Middle East.

The platform also features Artists' Rooms curated by the artists themselves, providing a deep dive into their creative process and research beyond the final artworks. Additionally, Dialogues offer a space for conversations, interviews, and experimental forms of writing between authors and artists. As Sumac Space strives to create a community of diverse voices, it invites active participation in shaping the platform's collaborative and collectively owned space for artistic expression.
