Sumessh Menon Associates

Sumessh Menon Associates is a Mumbai-based architecture and interior design firm led by designer Sumessh Menon. The practice creates bespoke spaces that balance contemporary aesthetics, practical functionality, and refined detailing, serving residential and commercial clients across a range of design settings. Its residential work includes luxury homes, villas, duplexes, and smaller residences, with designs shaped around clients’ individual tastes and lifestyles. The firm also handles home interiors, kitchens, custom furniture, material and finish selection, and layouts that make considered use of space and natural light.

In hospitality, Sumessh Menon Associates designs restaurants and other hospitality environments, aiming to give each space a distinctive character while supporting its practical needs. The firm’s work brings architecture and interior design together, using spatial planning, materials, textures, color, and lighting to create cohesive settings. Its approach combines modern design sensibilities with attention to detail and, where appropriate, cultural influences. Through tailored concepts for homes, villas, restaurants, and hospitality spaces, the firm seeks to make environments both memorable and comfortable, while maintaining a consistent focus on functionality and sophistication.
