Summer Dance Forever is an international hip-hop dance festival held in Amsterdam, bringing dancers together from around the world for events in August and February. The festival celebrates established artists and emerging talent through a program of dance battles, performances and related activities. Its competitions span several styles, including hip-hop, house, popping, waacking and locking, with dancers competing in solo and crew matchups.
Festival content features qualifying rounds, judge battles, semifinals and finals, alongside recorded battles and highlights from past events. Summer Dance Forever also presents the SDF Weekender, a dedicated event with house and hip-hop battles, and promotes special editions such as The Warrior Edition Weekender in partnership with SNIPES. Its annual gathering offers audiences an opportunity to experience diverse dance styles and follow international competitors as they progress through the battles. The 2026 festival is scheduled for 25–31 August in Amsterdam
