Summerland Dressage Club Inc. is a not-for-profit organisation promoting dressage in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. Based at Bangalow Showgrounds, the club has supported local riders since 1982 and welcomes members of all ages and experience levels, from beginners to Grand Prix and professional competitors.
The club offers opportunities for riders and horses to learn, train and compete throughout the year. Training days feature practice test riding, protocol days, seminars, clinics and lessons with qualified coaches, judges and other professionals. Members can also take part in participant, members’ and official dressage competitions. The club’s major annual event is the two-day Far North Coast Dressage Championships, which attracts riders from New South Wales and Queensland. It also hosts the equestrian event for the Lismore Masters Games, held every two years with Lismore City Council.
Membership provides access to a welcoming local dressage community, networking and end-of-year point-score awards.
