Welcome to the Summer Space Festival, a two-day event filled with fun, accessible, and educational activities focused on Space & Science. Whether you're a student, young professional, parent, or space enthusiast, there's something for everyone to discover during the SSF!

Our mission is to inspire the next generation of space enthusiasts while raising awareness about the importance of space in our daily lives. We aim to inform young people about career opportunities and promote space innovation in Belgium, North-East of France, and Luxembourg, by highlighting interregional and European collaborations.

The festival offers a diverse program that includes workshops, expert presentations, debates, networking opportunities, and activities with astronauts. Participants will have the chance to interact with 10+ astronauts, learn from industry experts, and explore academic and professional opportunities in the space industry.

Join us on May 5th for a day packed with activities, including a breakfast and coffee welcome, presentations by European astronauts, workshops, lunch with astronauts, and a highlight panel discussing the future of Space.

On May 6th, we have a lineup of engaging panels, including discussions on exploring the solar system, insights from space, living in space, and the role of science-fiction. The day will also feature presentations on the James Webb Space Telescope and how space is useful in our daily lives.

The festival will conclude with a dinner break, an augmented conference, and a film projection of Interstellar.
