Summer Wilson is a technical designer, entrepreneur, athlete, philanthropist, and mother whose work spans apparel, retail, fitness, and the arts. She began as the founding lead designer at lululemon athletica, where she created some of the company’s best-known products, including the Groove Pant and Logo Hoodie. She later co-founded Kit and Ace, a luxury retail brand, and Ride Cycle Club, an indoor spin studio. Today, Wilson continues to pursue apparel design through Turf Active, an activewear brand offering essentials designed to transition from workouts to everyday activities.
Wilson is also committed to Vancouver’s creative and entrepreneurial community. Through their family foundation, the Wilsons have supported local art and design initiatives, including the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and the Wilson Arts Plaza at Emily Carr University. The foundation also supports land conservation in British Columbia. Alongside her business and philanthropic work, Wilson is developing her artistic practice.
