Summit Brewing

Summit Brewing Company stands as Minnesota’s original craft brewery, having been founded in 1986 in St. Paul by Mark Stutrud. Committed to brewing with character and quality, Summit crafts exceptional beers inspired by old-world traditions while incorporating modern ingredients. Their flagship product, the Summit Extra Pale Ale, exemplifies their dedication to high-quality and consistent craft brewing.

The brewery prides itself on using select grains, fresh hops, and clean water, all while minimizing environmental impact. Their brewing process emphasizes natural carbonation and the artful balance between malts, hops, water, and yeast. In addition to their wide range of brews, Summit offers a welcoming experience at their Ratskeller and patio, where visitors can sample fresh pours, enjoy the atmosphere, and explore the Gift Shop. As an independently owned establishment, Summit not only focuses on great beer but also places importance on community support, environmental stewardship, and fostering a culture of fun and friendship.
