Sund ledelse

Sund Ledelse is a Danish research and knowledge-sharing initiative focused on leadership, stress and shame in the workplace. It explores how stress-related sick leave can be prevented by connecting research with practical experience and building partnerships among researchers, organisations and workplace communities. The initiative’s work examines shame as an important, often overlooked dimension of stress, including how moral conflicts can arise when employees’ professional ideals clash with the realities of their work. It also investigates how these experiences affect people’s ability to seek or accept support from colleagues and managers.

Sund Ledelse develops and communicates research on recognition and workplace communication, with attention to the different ways people respond to stress. Its activities include establishing and supporting partnerships within and across organisations, sharing research through its website and other communications, and inviting interested people to follow the work through a newsletter. By bringing multiple workplace levels into the conversation, Sund Ledelse aims to encourage new approaches to understanding stress and supporting employees.
