Center for Sundt Liv og Trivsel

Center for Sundt Liv og Trivsel (the Center for Healthy Life and Wellbeing) is an independent private association in Denmark established by the Ministry of the Interior and Health and the Novo Nordisk Foundation. It works to promote health and prevent health challenges, with a particular focus on helping children and young people achieve wellbeing and develop a healthy weight. Its vision is that every child and young person should have the opportunity to grow up thriving and maintain a healthy weight throughout life.

The Center builds knowledge, strengthens collaboration and develops practical solutions that make healthy living and wellbeing more achievable. It brings together relevant organisations, supports the development and testing of initiatives, and shares approaches shown to work. Its grant programme funds projects and research addressing topics such as children’s understanding of wellbeing, improved wellbeing assessments, support for children in vulnerable situations, lifestyle interventions during pregnancy, and parents’ needs. The Center also publishes reports and articles, organises events, and communicates current findings and initiatives.
