Sunflower Child Development + Discovery Center

Sunflower Child Development & Discovery Center supports children and families in Winneshiek County, Iowa, and the surrounding area. The organization brings together a child care center focused on quality care and education and a Discovery Center where children and caregivers can explore through hands-on play. Its early childhood programs serve children from six weeks through school age, with age-based rooms and a preschool program designed to support children’s growth and learning. Sunflower’s dedicated providers nurture development across physical, social and emotional, cognitive, communication, and language skills.

The center’s facilities include indoor gym space, age-appropriate playgrounds, and the Discovery Center, offering opportunities for play, creativity, and exploration. Families can visit the Discovery Center during its public hours, and the space is also available for birthday parties and rentals. Sunflower provides information about enrollment, tuition, programs, and parent resources, and invites people to join its team or support its work through donations. With a welcoming focus on learning and play, Sunflower aims to help every child grow and thrive.
