Sunny Days Group Program

Sunny Days Group Program (SDGP) is a not-for-profit charitable organization based in Brighton, Ontario, serving adults with special needs and different challenges. The program offers a welcoming community setting where members can build friendships, enjoy laughter, and find purpose and connection in their day. Its mission is to create a self-sustaining, independent community program that helps adults with different challenges be accepted by and actively involved in their community.

Sunny Days began in response to a local need for a program designed for differently abled individuals. It has grown with support from community members, families, staff, and volunteers, who work together to support the program’s members. Funding comes from pay-per-use participation, community donations, corporate and government grants, and some program activities. The organization also shares news, program pictures, documents, and information for donors and visitors through its website, and invites people to contact its board of directors for further details. Sunny Days Group Program’s focus is on fostering belonging, meaningful relationships, and community engagement for the adults it serves.
