Sunnyvale Girls SB

The Sunnyvale Girls Softball League (SGSL) is a dedicated youth sports organization established in 2005, aiming to enrich the lives of young girls in the Sunnyvale and Cupertino communities. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, SGSL focuses on teaching essential softball skills, sportsmanship, and character development, catering to players aged 4 to 12. The league emerged from the consolidation of four local Little League programs, bringing over 30 years of softball tradition to its players.

SGSL offers various recreational and competitive fast-pitch softball programs that emphasize teamwork and personal growth. Their programs include Spring and Fall recreational leagues, as well as the competitive travel ball team, Sunnyvale Shockwave, which runs from June to August. For older players aged 13 and up, SGSL partners with Quakes Fastpitch, facilitating further opportunities in both recreational and travel leagues. Committed to inclusivity, SGSL welcomes participants of all backgrounds and abilities, championing valuable life skills through the sport of softball.
