Founded in 2012, Sun of a Beach is a vibrant brand that was born in the Mediterranean but draws inspiration from tropical destinations around the world. Our founders, Melina and Ellie, conceived the idea while soaking up the sun in Mykonos, realizing that beach towels were a pivotal part of the summer experience. With a fresh perspective, they set out to create handmade, locally produced products that celebrate the beach lifestyle.

Although beach towels are at the heart of our business, we constantly evolve and expand our offerings. Our collections are a kaleidoscope of inspiration, blending elements from Greece, the Mediterranean, and far-flung tropical paradises. We're not just about fashion; we're about fostering a lifestyle that embraces relaxation and celebration.

In 2019, we collaborated with talented local artists to create stunning contemporary art pieces that were printed on our beach towels and exhibited at Zoumboulakis Gallery. Additionally, we are deeply connected to nature and support the conservation efforts of WWF Greece. With every sale, 10% is donated to raise awareness and protect the endangered sea life of the Mediterranean Sea.
