WebChoices is an innovative consumer choice tool designed to empower users by managing the collection and use of data for interest-based advertising. This tool provides a user-friendly interface where individuals can make selections to limit their exposure to targeted ads. By clicking on various company names, users can access information about participating companies and choose to opt out of data collection from specific firms.

Once selections are made, users can ensure their preferences are preserved by installing the Protect My Choices browser extension, which acts as a safeguard against accidental deletions. WebChoices prioritizes user autonomy in the digital advertising landscape, allowing individuals to have more control over their online privacy. Additionally, it features a clear understanding of choices through guidance on the AdChoices icon and detailed insights into participating companies. As a beta tool, WebChoices is continuously evolving to enhance user experience while promoting transparency and informed decision-making in the realm of digital advertising.
