Sunset-Farm

Sunset Farm Fehmarn is a riding and experience farm on the island’s western coast, set among meadows and pastures near two nature reserves. The farm welcomes visitors to meet its animal family, which includes horses, ponies, alpacas, llamas, donkeys, sheep and farm dogs. Its animals live outdoors year-round, and the farm breeds American Quarter Horses and alpacas. Facilities include extensive grazing areas, a large indoor riding arena, paddocks and outdoor riding spaces.

Sunset Farm offers activities for a range of ages and experience levels, including riding lessons, horseback rides along the beach, alpaca walks and opportunities to spend time with the animals. Visitors can also enjoy experiences such as coffee with alpacas, group events, coaching and workshops. Online booking is available, and activities are offered in small groups with a personal, family-friendly approach. Visits require an appointment; spontaneous drop-ins cannot be accommodated. The farm emphasizes respectful treatment of its animals and invites guests to relax, enjoy the natural surroundings and discover the coast.
