Sunset Pediatric Academy PPEC

Sunset Pediatric Academy PPEC is a pediatric care provider offering Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) for children with complex medical needs. Its mission is to help patients achieve the best possible health outcomes in a safe, compassionate environment while supporting their learning, development, and everyday skills. The academy brings medical care and therapy together in a structured setting, with pediatric nurses, licensed therapists, and trained caregivers working under a medical director.

Services include skilled nursing, physical, occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy, medication administration, respiratory support, feeding assistance, and individualized nutrition meals. The program also encourages therapeutic play, social interaction, and developmental learning. Children who require frequent or daily care for conditions such as seizures, feeding tubes, severe asthma, or developmental delays may qualify; the academy offers free evaluations and guidance through enrollment. PPEC services are described as fully covered by Medicaid for eligible children, with no cost to families.

Sunset Pediatric Academy also provides private pick-up and drop-off transportation in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
