Sunset Events is a Southern California event-planning company based in Downey, offering a one-stop service for creating unique and memorable celebrations. Founded by lead planner Lety Leon, the business draws on her experience planning events for a worldwide hotel chain and combines professional coordination with a personal focus on clients’ ideas and dreams.
The company plans weddings, quinceañeras, Sweet 16 celebrations, corporate functions, and other social events. Its team guides clients from initial planning through event-day execution, coordinating vendors and details such as venues, décor, and tastings. Services include flowers, cakes, catering, photography and video, entertainment, cars, and invitations, as well as themed décor for quinceañeras and other celebrations.
Sunset Events describes its process as planning, integrating, and executing: understanding the client’s vision, bringing together the people and elements needed, then coordinating the festivities on the day. The team includes specialists in event logistics and quality management, along with social media and IT services. Its stated goal is to let clients enjoy their occasion while the team manages the arrangements.
