Sunset Planning Services provides compassionate, practical support for end-of-life planning, legacy building, and executor responsibilities. Founded by Monica Welty, the practice helps individuals organize important decisions and documents so they can live with greater peace of mind and make things easier for loved ones. Its services include preparing for conversations with an estate-planning lawyer, gathering information for wills and trusts, considering medical and quality-of-life preferences, and identifying trusted decision-makers. Clients can also plan memorial services, organize secure physical and digital records, and develop meaningful legacy projects that reflect their values and relationships.

For executors, Sunset Planning offers personalized task lists, guidance through estate administration, and referrals to professionals such as lawyers, financial advisors, tax specialists, home organizers, and grief-support providers. Support may include organizing paperwork, notifying agencies, closing accounts, tracking assets, gathering tax information, and coordinating the distribution of belongings. Packages include guided one-to-one sessions, a personalized task tracker, educational resources, and between-session support; some also offer virtual coworking.
