Sunshine Farm LLC is an equestrian training and lesson program located at a boarding facility just north of downtown Fort Collins, Colorado, about 10 minutes from Colorado State University. Led by trainer Stefanie Thompson, the farm welcomes riders at all experience levels, from first-time learners to seasoned equestrians refining their skills. Lessons are available on the farm’s trained lesson horses or a rider’s own horse, with instruction tailored to individual goals and learning styles.

The program covers hunter, jumper, equitation, western pleasure, dressage, and western dressage. Sunshine Farm also offers horse training, education for horses at different stages, tune-ups, and seasonal youth camps. Instruction emphasizes horse-and-rider connection, biomechanics, safety, and building a solid foundation at an appropriate pace. The facility includes a heated indoor arena, an outdoor arena with a jump course, and access to nearby trails. Students may participate in local schooling and CHJA shows, though showing is not required. Sunshine Farm aims to foster confident, capable riders and responsive, well-educated horses through attentive care and individualized support.
