SunshineList Ontario is an independent information and data-search platform for exploring Ontario’s public sector salary and benefits disclosures. It organizes publicly available records from the Government of Ontario’s Public Sector Salary Disclosure, helping visitors find information about individuals, employers, positions, compensation, and taxable benefits. Searches can be refined by year, sector, employer, name, and salary range, with records spanning multiple years and public sector categories such as hospitals, municipalities, universities, school boards, government ministries, crown agencies, and Ontario Power Generation.

The site also offers tools and summaries designed to make the data easier to explore. Visitors can review top earners and leaderboards, compare employers and positions, examine payroll trends by year and sector, and learn about the historical $100,000 disclosure threshold and inflation. Recent and popular searches provide another way to browse the information, and the site lists an option to export results as a CSV file. SunshineList Ontario states that it is provided for informational purposes only and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Ontario.
