SUNYLA

The SUNY Librarians Association (SUNYLA) is dedicated to fostering professional development and collaboration among library personnel throughout the State University of New York (SUNY) system. By emphasizing the importance of advancing library services, SUNYLA aims to enhance support for campuses and the broader New York community. The association cultivates a close-knit environment where members can share innovative ideas, participate in professional development, and form valuable connections.

SUNYLA organizes two prominent conferences each year: the Midwinter Conference, held virtually in February, and the Annual Conference, taking place in June at various SUNY campuses. Membership is accessible to students from New York state library schools, providing opportunities for seasoned librarians and newcomers alike to engage in meaningful dialogues and professional growth. With affordable membership rates and lifetime options available, SUNYLA is committed to nurturing a vibrant library community dedicated to excellence in information services and literacy. Join SUNYLA to collaborate, learn, and elevate library services across the region.
