About Suomi-Somalia Seura
Suomi-Somalia Seura is a Finnish-Somali friendship organization founded in 1986. Our main goal is to maintain and promote cooperation between Finland and Somalia, as well as foster interaction between Somalis and Finns. We work towards making Somalia's nature, history, and cultural life known in Finland.
At Suomi-Somalia Seura, we prioritize equality, fairness, friendship, collaboration, openness, and inclusivity in all our activities. We offer various projects and initiatives to support our mission. These include the Meidän jengi project, which aims to prevent youth gang involvement in Finland, and the Daryeel Mobile Health Clinic, which provides vital healthcare assistance to people in challenging conditions.
Additionally, we offer resources to learn the Somali language and explore Somali culture and cuisine. Our aim is to create a bridge between our two nations, fostering understanding and friendship. Join us in our journey to strengthen the bond between Finland and Somalia
