Super is an interconnected suite of digital products built around one account, SuperID. A single sign-in gives members access to Mail, Messages, Calendar, Passwords, SuperFile, SuperSecure and SuperDRM, with a consistent experience across services. Mail, chat, groups, calls and calendars are described as end-to-end encrypted, while passwords, passkeys, authenticator details and API keys can be managed in the Passwords product.

Super emphasizes user-held security: encryption keys are generated on users’ devices, and the company says it stores ciphertext. Its SuperEngine provides a place for data that is sealed, user-owned and exportable. For files and media, SuperFile supports registering a name and file extension; SuperSecure offers protected files, DRM viewing and deal rooms; and SuperDRM provides video rights management across players. SuperChain adds registry verification for SuperFile, with documentation and live licence traffic tools also available.

The platform is built on open standards, including OpenID Connect, WebAuthn, WebCrypto, SMTP and CalDAV, and Super says users can run the services themselves. SuperID access is invitation-only, with members able to invite others.
