About Superlux
Superlux is a brand with over 60 years of experience in the New Zealand manufacturing industry. As a 100% NZ owned company, their passion for design and manufacturing is evident in all their products. Founded by Emil Heimgartner, who immigrated from Switzerland in 1950, Superlux initially provided manufacturing services in Onehunga.
Over time, the company expanded and established its current premises in Mangere Bridge in 1972. Today, Superlux is led by Emil's sons, Mark and John Heimgartner, with Jennifer Heimgartner also contributing to the design and management team. The brand prides itself on its commitment to innovation, designing and manufacturing their products locally and overseas.
With a strong work ethic and dedicated staff, Superlux continues to provide reliable and high-quality lighting fixtures. Their products undergo rigorous testing in-house to ensure they meet the highest standards.
