Supermarket is a San Diego-focused food and drink discovery platform that helps residents find and compare local places through neighborhood recommendations. Its community ranks venues head-to-head and creates tier lists, allowing people to see how nearby locals rate spots rather than relying on tourists or critics. The site features live rankings across categories including tacos, bars, ramen, coffee, and pizza, with an overall “Super 25” highlighting leading San Diego destinations.

Visitors can explore trending spots, newly added venues, and curated lists organized by neighborhoods such as North Park, Mount Hope, and Kensington. Listings cover a broad range of businesses, from taco shops and coffee houses to gastropubs, pizza restaurants, and ice cream shops, across areas including Chula Vista and Kearny Mesa. Members can sign in or join to rank places, take part in head-to-head comparisons, build lists, and share opinions with the community.
