Supertee is an Australian charity helping children facing serious or life-threatening illness in hospitals, paediatric wards and respite centres. It brings strength through imagination by providing children with specially designed medical garments that look and feel like fun costumes. The garments encourage imaginative play while making it easier for families and hospital staff to dress children and access medical lines when needed, combining practicality with comfort and dignity during treatment and care.
Supertee gifts its garments free of charge through a network of more than 126 hospitals across Australia and beyond, with support from volunteers and donors. The organisation also offers a family support network where people can connect with others in similar circumstances. Supporters can contribute through one-time or regular donations, workplace giving, fundraising, corporate partnerships, volunteering and gifts in wills. Supertee was founded following founder Jason Sotiris’s daughter’s cancer diagnosis and has supported tens of thousands of children. It received Australia’s Good Design Award for Social Impact in 2019.
