Our vision that everyone bereaved or affected by suicide is offered timely and appropriate support. As recognised experts on suicide postvention, we support a wide range of organisations to adopt best practice in suicide bereavement service provision. We are hosted by Samaritans and currently count over 140 members in our network. SASP grows around the issues. We continue to build and diversify our membership, adapt to emerging challenges, and lead conversations across the sector about suicide bereavement.

About Support After Suicide Partnership
The Support After Suicide Partnership (SASP) is a UK-wide network of over 70 members and supporters, founded in 2013. Our aim is to provide timely and appropriate support to everyone bereaved or affected by suicide. As a special interest group of the National Suicide Prevention Alliance (NSPA) based at Samaritans, SASP brings together national and local organizations that deliver suicide bereavement support across the UK.
Our comprehensive range of products and services includes a central hub where you can find local support, stories, and resources. We also offer guidance on what might happen next, the timeline of events, talking to children and students, and supporting someone else. Additionally, we provide information on coroners and probate, as well as resources for LGBTQ+ bereavement by suicide.
With a steering group composed of dedicated professionals, including Simon Blake OBE and Fergus Crow, SASP is committed to promoting positive messaging and collaborating with various sectors to find solutions in suicide prevention. Our patrons, Hamish Elvidge and Angela Samata, bring their personal experiences and understanding to help shape our work. At SASP, we strive to ensure that no one faces the aftermath of suicide alone, offering vital support every step of the way
