At Supports To Empower

S.T.E.P. Community Living Services, also known as Supports To Empower People, provides person-centered support for adults with developmental disabilities. The organization’s goal is to help people build independence, pursue personal goals, and participate in their homes and communities while preserving their dignity, privacy, and right to make choices. After services are approved, each individual can work with a program coordinator to shape support around their needs, preferences, and strengths.

Services include one-on-one in-home assistance with daily routines and activities of daily living, companionship, help finding a home, financial management, and access to community resources. S.T.E.P. also offers in-home respite, community respite through brief local outings, and sibling care for up to three siblings in one household when authorized. Its family-driven EOR care model lets families choose trusted caregivers or receive a thoughtful match, while S.T.E.P. manages hiring, payroll, and compliance.
