About SURAAA
SURAAA | Pörtschach am Wörthersee is a brand that represents a unique initiative in the areas of economy, tourism, and mobility. This initiative is being carried out by the region of Carinthia in Austria, in collaboration with partners from the business and research sectors. The main goal is to position the region as an innovative showcase area in Europe, strengthening its attractiveness as a business location and promoting innovative projects in the fields of automated mobility, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
SURAAA focuses on autonomous driving, entrepreneurship, and innovation, and has successfully completed projects in areas such as smart city, e-tourism, and smart farming. Since 2018, they have been operating an autonomous shuttle in Pörtschach am Wörthersee on a daily basis, with regular schedules. This brand is committed to fostering innovation and creating a smarter and more sustainable urban region
