Surfcenter Leipzig is a watersports school, equipment rental service, test center, and surf shop based at Pier 1 on the Cospudener See in Markkleeberg, near Leipzig. Open seasonally from spring through autumn, it helps beginners and experienced participants enjoy a range of water sports through lessons, equipment hire, product testing, and sales. Courses cover windsurfing, wingsurfing, wingfoiling, stand-up paddleboarding, pump foiling, and catamaran sailing; participants can work toward VDWS basic licenses and, for some disciplines, progress through additional levels.

The center also offers private instruction, children’s holiday camps, SUP tours, SUP yoga, SUP Pilates, and group events. Its rental fleet includes equipment for a variety of abilities, while the shop stocks boards, SUPs, sails, wings, wetsuits, and other watersports clothing. Customers can try and compare current equipment and receive individual advice before buying.
