Surfing Courant d'Huchet

Surfing Courant d’Huchet is an independent, small-scale surf school in Moliets-et-Maa, in France’s Landes region. Founded and run by Pierre Marchand, a state-certified surf instructor, the school offers welcoming, personalized lessons for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to experienced surfers. Small groups and individual guidance help students learn at their own pace, build confidence and enjoy time in the ocean.

Lessons take place near the Courant d’Huchet, with schedules chosen according to tides and ocean conditions. Surfboards, wetsuits and safety equipment are provided and selected to suit each student’s level, age and the conditions of the day. Booking options include group lessons for up to eight people, Premium group sessions for up to five, private coaching, and tailor-made sessions. The school also welcomes school groups, holiday centres, companies and other organisations, with customised arrangements available on request. Sessions are led with an emphasis on safety, practical instruction and an enjoyable experience in the water.
